Beyond Symptom Reduction

Compassionate, Collaborative and Integrative Care

At Centerpoint Integrative Psychiatry, we help individuals return to their center — a place of greater balance, compassion, resilience, and inner stability.

We provide trauma-informed, integrative psychiatric care that thoughtfully incorporates ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic-informed perspectives alongside evidence-based psychiatric treatment. By attending to the biological, emotional, relational, and existential dimensions of life, we support healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths. It is a great truth because once we truly see this truth, we transcend it.

— M. Scott Peck

Our Approach

A Whole-Person Approach to Healing

We begin from the belief that every person possesses an innate capacity for healing and growth when provided with the right tools, support, and environment. Our role is not simply to treat symptoms, but to help create the conditions in which healing can unfold.

We view healing as more than the reduction of a diagnosis or a disorder. It involves understanding the whole person — their biology, their rhythm, temperament, their relationships, life experiences, values, and sense of meaning. By caring for the full human being, we aim to support not only symptom relief, but also greater resilience, connection, and well-being.

These three stages guide our treatment approach:

  • I.Balance to the Body. Healing begins with creating a foundation of stability — restoring balance in the body’s rhythms, including sleep, energy, mood, stress regulation, and physical well-being.
  • II.Healing through the Heart. Once greater stability is established, we turn toward the emotional experiences that shape our lives — understanding patterns of suffering, resilience, relationships, and identity, at a pace guided by curiosity, self-compassion, and readiness for change.
  • III.Return to the Center. The goal of healing is not a perfect life, but a deeper sense of alignment with oneself — greater self-trust, resilience, and clarity about what truly matters.
